Greetings! It is with great excitement that we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Monthalia United Methodist Church. Not only is it exciting to celebrate 100 years of existence, but it is especially rewarding when that celebration is for 100 years of faithfully serving the Lord as part of His body, the Church. Since 1886, the Monthalia Church has been fulfilling its role as a Christ Center in the community.

Here at the church, anyone in the community can find a spot to come and experience the peace and assurance of God's love reflected in the work and activities of the congregation. From men and women's organizations to youth activities and young people gathered in recreation and worship, this sanctuary, parish hall, and playground are still "the place to be" for individuals of all ages.

We thank God for the love, mercy, and grace that He has bestowed on this congregation in the past 100 years, and look forward with great joy to serving Him for all those years yet to come. We are thankful and ask God's guidance and blessing as we seek to continue to do His work here and now. We pray that God's will and the direction of this congregation will continue to be together.
